Recap from AWS Virtual re:invent 2020 so far. It’s a 3 week online extravagance this time because COVID but they have done an amazing job so far. This article will cover announcements from Week 1.

For those who have read my AWS Re:invent 2019 Security Recap, or heard it on Cloud Security Podcast, you know I like to keep it honest so there might be some harsh truths here.

Recap from AWS re:invent 2019 in Las Vegas #reinvent of all the cloud security updates by the service provider, including the region availability and current limitations.

AWS is the oldest and probably the only public cloud service provider compared to microsoft azure, google cloud with the largest application workload. Their yearly conference AWS re:invent is definitely the event of the year for all the consumers of the services. Last year, there were 70 new products were announced at AWS Re:invent 2018.

Recap from Amazon Web Services ( AWS )’s first security conference in Boston — AWS re:inforce 2019 #reinforce

Amazon Web Services (AWS) are the largest Cloud provider service in the world period. I won’t need to explain anything more about them, so you can imagine when they announce their first AWS Security conference, it was going to be big.

Yes, the wait is finally over. I am starting a Free Cloud Security Training series Whoop Whoop!

Over the past few years, Apart from mentoring the most asked thing from me has been to train others in art of cloud security. Honestly I have been pushing it all this while. No excuses but working on organising a conference and workshops for DevSecOps definitely felt like a second full time job. Things have settled down a bit on that front and I finally have the time to start a cloud security series.

Best part of starting a series is that I…
